Description
石斛乃九大仙草之一，补而不燥是斛石的特点，铁皮石斛以可清火，适用于口苦咽干，肝火升上的人。常熬夜吸烟喝酒者可煲多点铁皮石斛水喝。
代药理研究表明，石斛以清胃热、生津除烦为主要药性特点，可养阴生津，清火退热；可益气养阴，清热健脾；可益气生津，利咽开音，去翳明目；还可滋阴补肾，敛气安神，对于阴虚型糖尿病、高脂血症、神经衰弱、慢支肺气肿、放化疗后病人表现为口干口苦、失眠多梦、干咳气短有一定的辅助治疗功效。
每次取为 3-5 克用清水泡10-12 小时， 拉开洗净后放入锅中， 加清水慢火煲2-3 小时后加入少量冰糖即可饮用。 或者加入鸡汤或其他肉类汤中慢火煲2-3 小时后亦可。
One of the nine immortal herbs, Heshouwu (Polygonum multiflorum) is characterized by its nourishing property without causing dryness. As for Tiepishihu (Dendrobium officinale), it has the ability to clear heat and is suitable for people with bitter taste in the mouth, dry throat, and liver fire flaring up. Those who frequently stay up late, smoke or drink alcohol can boil more Tiepishihu water to drink.
Pharmacological studies have shown that Shihu has the main medicinal properties of clearing stomach heat, generating fluids, and relieving irritability. It can nourish yin and generate fluids, clear heat, invigorate the spleen, nourish qi, produce fluids, clear the throat, and brighten the eyes. It can also nourish yin and supplement the kidneys, restrain qi and calm the mind. It has certain auxiliary therapeutic effects on people with yin deficiency type diabetes, hyperlipidemia, neurasthenia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and those who have undergone radiation or chemotherapy, manifesting as dry mouth and throat, insomnia and vivid dreaming, and dry cough and shortness of breath.
Take 3-5 grams each time and soak it in clear water for 10-12 hours. After rinsing, put it into the pot and add water to simmer over low heat for 2-3 hours. Then add a small amount of rock sugar before drinking. Alternatively, it can be added to chicken soup or other meat soup and simmered over low heat for 2-3 hours.
